Just when you think the day is over, the biggest friendliest thermal lifts everyone into the sky. Easy climb to cloudbase. Easy glide to next thermal and so it went all the way towards Dorchester. Decided not to head for Weymouth being a bank holiday as the beach might be packed. Played with the decaying clouds around Puddletown before landing and sharing a taxi with Steve Newcombe back to the hill. Later I discovered Tolpuddle and the Martyrs museum were just a few hundred paces down the road - must have been a pub nearby.
