Climb and Speed averaged over 4 second intervals.

These values may be lower than those shown by a flight instrument, which has access to continuous raw data.

Red values indicate suspect data, because the tracklog contains invalid points.

Metric units are used for all chart data, except for Height which is shown in feet.

Average Speed around course is measured from Start to Finish points.

Track Length is the cumulative distance between track points from Takeoff to Landing.

Well after driving through heavy rain showers arrived as things where clearing through. Done the short walk up thank god with my new small XR7 harness its like carrying a hippo on your back. No wind just light cycles given I was expecting top end. So took off and headed for low scar and looked like I was down so thought in for a penny and carried on out and accepted the big walk up again. However it paid off and climbed out to 2700. So moved on to better looking skies to Melmerby bowl where I got another climb to 3700. So off on another glider where I could see pilots trying to get there gliders up in zero wind and now sunshine in front. Got to cross fell where it lies at just short of 3000feet. This time a climb to 4100. So glided of to my turnpoint at Murton pike, however the wind seemed to be getting stronger and stronger by the sheep pens golf balls with 8k forward speed and going up like a elevator to 5000. So pushed on all the time struggling as numpty did not put the pod closer on and was a bit twisted. At 12 k of 20 I decided to head back and noticed the group from Murton at base heading out form Man At Edge and headed over and followed out under the cloud street going up in stages in a straight line at up to 5 MS and must say was getting a abs work out in the harness and thought where my head rest. Instead it was a Valium and a drink of water now sorted. So continued making sure I was out of cloud. I kept on checking I did not have an engine on my back as was thinking are you not supposed to thermal? Well there it was the clouds were a 1000ft below me towards the hill and realised it was the seabreaze so thought keep to the right side even though I had no clue what the f--ck was going on. Anyway I started to think this is great fun but I could see the air was changing and did not want a walk out or not close the triangle that was totally in intended so gliders back the 13k with no more lift or real sink and was back over take off at 3200, so landed next to van and felt exited. Pretended to be still at work and done all my work calls and was home by 5.30.

The harness very good defo easier control than lightness but not as comfy yet.
