First time I've flown off the spur at MHWH, and I can't say I'm a fanboy, just yet: despite the wind being firm to strong in the gusts, though not really howling, it doesn't generate a lot of dynamic lift, as everyone seemed to be struggling to stay up between cycles.

Still, a fast-ish run followed, though others shot off ahead, so most of the flight was solo or a climb behind the nearest gliders.

Finally decked by indecision & distraction brought on by the angst of peeing through a kinked pee-tube, which rapidly inflated the condom-catheter above the blockage, whilst at the same time as stupidly pushing myself too close to Cranfield D2358, instead of topping up properly over MK, so forcing myself south of my preferred sunny line. I only managed to save my dignity by unclipping the flight deck/ballast bag, popping the button on my trousers and desperately fumbling with a gloved left hand at the immodest balloon in my pants… Whilst trying to thermal.
