Notes

Climb and Speed averaged over 10 second intervals.

These values may be lower than those shown by a flight instrument, which has access to continuous raw data.

Average Speed around course is measured from Start to Finish points.

Track Length is the cumulative distance between track points from Takeoff to Landing.

You can change the default units displayed - see the Options page.

Didn't get to the hil 'til 2. At that stage it wa too light to launch until the thermal came through, when it was too strong. For me at least, and I treated the audience to my annual display of crap launches.

Eventually got my act together and climbed out with a couple fo other gliders, one of which I think was Chinny. Lost him on the edge of the peaks (although I think he reappeared 30k downwind)

At that time most climbs were quite weak and I only made it through the invesion twice, so spent the next 4 hours thinking every climb would be the last one of the day, flying reasonably slowly (even for me! )

Eventlaully the one over Newark was the final one and I went on a long long smoth glide to the deck - no more thermals.

Lovely flight, gorgeous views, on my own again, chuffing freezing (even with loads of layers), shame not to have got to the hill earlier but some of us have to work sometimes!

More tomorrow?
